The Warrior Wickiup, a project of the Family Consumer Science program, has available t-shirt designs, window clings, and other Warrior spirit items for sale. Most items are made to order. Follow the link to the Warrior Wickiup web page by clicking on the headline to browse and purchase.

The Chilhowie Warrior Volleyball Team will be holding their Warriors for a Cure game tonight, hosting the Rural Retreat Indians. This game is held to help raise awareness for breast cancer. Throughout the night there will be drawings and a silent auction for items donated by the community. Players will be selling baked goods and tshirts. They will also be selling pink ribbons in honor or in memory of loved ones who have had breast cancer or any cancer. These ribbons can be purchased for $1 from any team member or at the game tonight. They will be displayed on the bulletin board in the CMS/gym lobby for the month of October. All proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Cancer Outreach of Southwest Va.

Please come out and support your team and help in the fight against breast cancer!

Flu vaccine clinic permission forms are due on September 15. Students can turn into a teacher or the main office. The clinic will be held the week of September 26.

The home varsity football game on Aug 25 versus Marion Senior High has been moved to an 8:00 pm kickoff due to expected high temperatures . Gates will open at 6 pm.
